This Privacy Policy explains what information ToolJagat (https://tooljagat.com), operated by Emmanova Digital, collects when you use the website, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Current status: no analytics, no advertising
As of the "Last updated" date above, ToolJagat runs no analytics service and shows no advertisements. No advertising or analytics cookies are set, and no advertising or analytics script is loaded on any page. The sections below on advertising and analytics describe what will apply if and when we add such services. We will update this policy, and the date above, before enabling either.
1. Your calculations stay in your browser
All calculators and converters on ToolJagat run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The numbers, dates and text you enter into a tool are never sent to our servers, are not stored by us and are not shared with anyone. If you close the page, the inputs are gone unless you yourself saved or shared the link.
2. Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may record standard technical server logs when you visit:
- IP address (used for security and approximate country-level location), browser type and version, device type and screen size
- Pages visited, referring page, date and time, and how long you stayed
These logs are held by the hosting provider for security and abuse prevention. We do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.
3. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense) — not yet active
We do not currently show advertisements. In future we may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors. If we do, those vendors will use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and the following will apply:
- Google uses advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or www.aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Before any advertising or analytics cookies are set, visitors from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a consent banner (a Google-certified consent management platform) and will be able to change their choice at any time.
4. Analytics — not yet active
We do not currently use any analytics service. If we add one in future (for example a privacy-friendly analytics tool, or Google Analytics with Consent Mode and IP anonymisation), we will say so here first. Analytics data would never include the values you type into tools.
5. Local storage
We store a single preference (light or dark theme) in your browser's local storage. It contains no personal information and never leaves your device.
6. Children
ToolJagat is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. Tools may be used by students for calculations without providing any personal information.
7. Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
As a Data Principal under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), you have the right to access a summary of personal data we process about you, to request correction or erasure, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise these rights, and to raise a grievance. Because we do not store tool inputs or require accounts, in most cases we hold no personal data that can identify you. Where we do (for example, an email you send us), we process it only to respond to you.
If you are in the EEA/UK, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. Third-party links
Tool pages link to official sources (for example, government or regulator websites) for verification. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because we do not store your inputs, there is no database of user calculations that could be breached.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page.
